We went for the full comprehensive inspection, inclusive of the pool, and we're impressed with the thorough reports supplied. Christian identified a number of non-compliance issues, and the level of detail he went to when inspecting the entire property allowed us to go back to the seller and have a lot of expensive items repaired prior to settlement.Highly recommended!

Building/Pest inspection- It has been a pleasant experience dealing with Christian from SHS, he was quick to organise the inspection and kept me informed throughout the process. The report was well detailed but still summarised the information for me clearly.I have had experience with another building inspector on a previous purchase house and SHS has been the best value for money and the easiest and most professional to deal with. My husband and I employed Christian from SHS Building Consultants to help us with our Pre Handover Meeting for our new built home. We have had an absolutely terrible time building, with the trades and with our builder. We are now so very glad we asked Christian to accompany us. He was very thorough as he went through the house - picking up on faults and defects. He seems professional, knowledgeable and yet also very approachable and happy to help answer any questions we had. After our inspection, we received a very informative and concise report from Christian by the next morning. Pre Purchase Inspection PerthThanks SHS for a detailed and comprehensive prepurchase building and pest report on our new home in Morley. We have engaged building inspectors before on the east coast but this was easily the best service and reporting we have had either here or there. Fantastic! we had these guys do our prepurchase inspection in Canningvale Perth for a house we bought. Very detailed report, SHS identified a lot of things we would never have known and the seller fixed up the major items before we even moved in. New smoke alarms, repaired roof and fixed the leaking showers x2. saved us a lot of money. Excellent customer service too. Thanks guys 5 stars!

Would not recommend SHS to anyone. The inspection was done very unsatisfactory. Either lazy or simply knows his carpentry better than walls... A few problems were risen for attention however the problem was not resolved as to why I had him out to begin with, which was my walls. It took me after spending over $500 with SHS, another building inspector to address the matter of my walls not meeting the Building Codes Australia (BCA) and I had 3 wall panels rebuilt. Rude, dishonest, untrustworthy

Being my first house, I played it safe and made a decision to get PCI, Handover Inspection and Defects Liability Inspection done. I didn’t have the knowledge to pick up things relating to building regulations, tolerance levels, etc., Thanks to Christian who picked up on everything needing to be rectified, and I’ve gotten everything fixed through the builder.I’m planning to live in this house for the rest of my life, and am certainly glad I used SHS Independent Building Consultants for a thorough inspection of my new house.

As most of us do, I too ended up in making the decision of hiring an independent inspector to do my pre-hand over check. Chris was great to deal with. He was very professional and reliable, pays attention to every minute stuffs. Luckily, my house did not have any major issues; however, I am very impressed by his honesty that he gave a few $$ back as a discount since the whole task was finished in lesser duration than we anticipated.
